In what is certainly one of the more strange stories we’ve covered this week, Pep Guardiola has reportedly asked Manchester City not to enter any semblance of talks with Jorge Mendes about Ansu Fati. The “talks” if you call them that, haven’t even truly began and seem to only be a bargaining chip on the part of Mendes.
Fati hasn’t played a game in almost a year and before he truly returns from injury Mendes wants his client on a new deal. One could hardly blame Fati for wanting a bit more money in this situation.
