Groin strain sees Kroos added to Real Madrid injury list

Real Madrid have announced that Toni Kroos is suffering from a muscle problem that will see him spend an undefined period of time on the sidelines, with the German having been forced off the pitch after 34 minutes in Los Blancos' 4-2 win over Granada on Saturday.

Luka Modric replaced his fellow midfielder with Madrid already a goal to the good and went on to score one himself in a match that saw Eden Hazard score his first competitive goal for the Spanish capital side.

Real have struggled hugely with muscular injuries this term, with Kroos joining a list of walking wounded that also includes Marco Asensio, Nacho, Ferland Mendy and Marcelo.
