Serie A side Roma are apparently sniffing around Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal following his return from injury.
Bernal is back in first-team training after being sidelined for almost a year with a serious knee injury.
Gianluca Di Marzio is reporting that Roma have expressed a “strong interest” in Bernal and have already been in touch to discuss a potential move.
The report also claims that Real Betis are keen on the midfielder, although there’s no mention of whether the clubs are thinking about a loan or a permanent transfer.
Bernal’s return will be a boost for Barcelona but he may have to take it slow after such a long time off and will face plenty of competition for a place in the team.
