Galatasaray Reportedly Banned from European Competition by UEFA

Turkish football giants Galatasaray have reportedly been banned from all European competitions for one year by UEFA.

That’s according to BBC Sport, who said the sanction has been handed out due to the club’s failure to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

“UEFA said in January that the club had failed to comply with its rules governing the permitted level of financial losses, paving the way for a potential ban from its Club Financial Control Body (CFCB),” it’s noted.
