Another World Cup qualifying campaign brings the Canadians to the scene of their most embarrassing defeat in decades.

SAN PEDRO SULA, Honduras – It’s not quite do or die for the Canadian men’s national team, but it’s just about as close as you can get.

In the place that holds so many traumatic memories, Canada heads into its decisive two matches in the fourth round of CONCACAF qualifying needing to be competitive against Honduras and win against El Salvador.

But it all starts in San Pedro Sula, where memories of the infamous 8-1 loss to Honduras four years ago are still raw with many Canadian supporters.
