The Italian journalist has claimed that the Serie A giants are close to signing the 27-year-old forward.
Everton have been heavily linked with a move for the Argentine international, but it seems he has preferred a move to the Serie A champions instead.
Romano claims that Inter have secured a deal with Lazio to sign the Argentine.
The deal is at the final stages. It will be a loan deal with Inter having the obligation to sign him for €30m plus add ons.
