Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool midfielder Emre Can and will have the opportunity to get him if Leon Goretzka moves to Bayern Munich.
According to David Maddock of the Mirror, Bayern are keen on both Goretzka and Can—who will be free agents in the summer and are both receptive to a move to the Allianz Arena—but are only likely to sign one.
Should they snap up the Schalke man ahead of Liverpool, who are also interested in him, that will free up Can to join City as he is believed to prefer a stay in England rather than join long-term admirers Juventus.
