Emerson Royal has revealed he received a message from the legendary Dani Alves, who preceded him in the Brazilian national team and in FC Barcelona.
Emerson spoke about Alves, who is currently leading the Brazilian Olympic to a gold medal face-off against Spain, while taking questions following his official unveiling as a Barcelona player.
Club president Joan Laporta mentioned Alves and another Brazilian right-back who made history with the Catalans, Juliano Belletti.
Emerson replied: “They are players who made history, especially Alves, whom I have as an idol. He is the player with the most titles in the history of football.
