Egyptian FA wants a decorated coach to replace Hector Cuper

Following a disastrous World Cup campaign which saw Egypt losing all their three Group games, the search for the new Pharaohs coach has already begun

The Egyptian Football Association (Efa) has stated that they are looking for a coach with a track record of winning titles to replace Argentine coach Hector Cuper.

The 62-year-old former Valencia and Inter Milan boss was sacked after leading Egypt in Russia.

A woeful outing cemented the Egyptians' grim World Cup record of having never won a match in all three tournaments they have taken part in. Those were in 1934, 1990 and the recently completed campaign in Russia 2018.
