Sergio Canales scored in injury time to give Diego Lainez a winning debut as Real Betis rallied to a 3-2 victory over Girona on Sunday.
Real Betis looked in control of the match early, but two goals from Girona in a space of eight minutes turned the match on its head. Girona’s lead was eventually erased early in the second period when Loren Moron scored from a Sergio Canales pass to put the score even at two goals.
In the 81st minute, Diego Lainez replaced goalscorer Loren Moron to make his first appearance for his new club.
