Barcelona’s seach for low-cost attacking reinforcements this summer has taken the club to Real Betis and Ayoze Perez.
Diario AS are reporting that Deco is quite taken with Perez after seeing him bag 11 goals and and two assists for Los Verdiblancos this season.
Perhaps more importantly, Perez has a release clause set at just 4 million euros - another reason surely Deco is keen on the forward.
Barca are also said to like Perez for his versatility as he can play up front, out on the wing or even in midfield as required.
There’s no doubt he’s had a good season with Betis, linking up nicely with Isco, and there’s even speculation he could be included in Spain’s squad for Euro 2024.
