Barcelona youngster Dani Rodriguez is set to undergo surgery next week on the shoulder injury that saw his first-team debut end early.
Rodriguez picked up the problem against Real Valladolid and will now go under the knife next week in San Sebastian, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The expectation is that Rodriguez will be out of action for three months, meaning he’ll miss pre-season and the start of the 2025-26 campaign.
It’s a big setback for Rodriguez who is pushing hard to be part of the first-team squad and certainly seems to have impressed Hansi Flick.
