Dani Alves's stoppage time equalizer rescues World Cup qualifying point for Brazil

The Barca fullback plays the role of hero

Dani Alves rescued a vital point for Brazil in World Cup qualifying last night. After going 2-0 down to Paraguay it looked as if the the Selecao were about to drop a big match. But Brazil weren't about to go without a fight. They pulled one goal back and then it was the Barcelona right back who played the role of hero in the second of three stoppage time minutes.

Alves collected the ball at the top right of the 18-yard box, feinted onto his left foot and struck a perfect curling shot into the back of the net to rescue a huge point for his country.
