Cruz Azul dominated a struggling Chivas as they got a 3-0 victory at home. They bounced back from a disappointing loss against their main rival, Club América, to get a victory after a dominating performance. Chivas wasted away the momentum from last week’s victory against Pumas by losing badly against Cruz Azul just days before they face their biggest rivals, Club América, in the first leg of the Round of 16 series in the CONCACAF Champions Cup. Meanwhile Cruz Azul will travel north to face Santos Laguna.
