As you probably know already, there is a running joke on the internet about Cruz Azul fans in Liga MX. It is more like a funny theory, like the one where if Aaron Ramsey scores a goal a celebrity dies.
Basically, if a Cruz Azul fan is spotted supporting a certain team, that teams is destined for failure. Well, in the middle of Argentina’s debacle against Croatia, the camera caught the glimpse of somebody wearing a Cruz Azul jersey among the Argentina faithful.
Obviously, this isn’t the first time this happens, and even the same Mexico national team has suffered from said joke.
