Coronavirus: 'Concerned' Hearts of Oak share Africa ambition

Hearts of Oak coach Edward Nii Odoom has declared his side ready to represent Ghana in Caf continental inter-club football next season amid uncertainty regarding the completion of the local top flight this term.

All football competitions, including the Ghana Premier League (GPL) and FA Cup, have been at a standstill since March 15 when a ban on public gatherings came into force as part of measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

It remains to be seen if the championships will resume but a rising number of infection cases have cast doubt over a possible prompt resumption.
