The goalkeeper helped his nation past Trinidad and Tobago in a playoff last week and is looking forward to Haiti facing some of the world's best.

After 86 minutes of scoreless, back-and-forth soccer, there was celebration Friday night. Kervens Belfort ripped off his shirt and ran toward the sideline, claiming the goal that would send Haiti through to the Copa America Centenario. Pascal Millien had sent in a cross toward Belfort that troubled the Trinidad and Tobago goalkeeper and bounced in to give the underdog the lead.
