Comets drop home opener in overtime against Stars

The Kansas City Comets dropped their home opener in overtime by a final score of 6-5 against the Tacoma Stars on Friday evening.

Kansas City’s failure to close out games has put them in a tough position, but they have certainly shown that they are moving in the right direction if they can manage to finish the game strong. Both teams had some big missed chances, but KC’s came in the worst moments.

The Comets were without Kevin Ellis, Ramone Palmer, Matt Lewis, Ignacio Flores, and Kyle McLagan, however, Ray Lee did make his return from injury.
