Club América denied another home win in 2-2 draw with Querétaro

In an exciting match at the Estadio Azteca, Club América draw 2-2 at home to Querétaro to make it five straight games without a win in Liga MX.

The visitors had taken the lead when in the 30th minute Fabian Castillo weaved his way into the edge of the box before combining with Aké Loba and slotting home Querétaro’s first.

But Querétaro’s advantage lasted less than two minutes as Henry Martin fired América level after picking out a deflected Renato Ibarra shot.

Las Águilas amped up the pressure in the second half, though Querétaro often fought back and looked dangerous themselves.
