Chelsea have suffered an injury blow as Radamel Falcao will miss the next few weeks of action due to a muscle injury.
Jose Mourinho confirmed he will be without the services of the Colombian international and will rely heavily on Diego Costa and Loic Remy in the South American’s absence. The 29-year-old picked up an injury while training with his teammates on Tuesday.
“Today Falcao picked up an important muscular injury and he will be out for a few weeks,” Mourinho said, as reported by Sky Sports.
Chelsea face Dynamo Kiev in the midweek Champions League clash on Wednesday and Costa was likely to start against the Ukrainian club.
