Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has said he wants to see a reaction from goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga after he was recently left out of the side.

The Spain international has struggled for form as of late and in Chelsea's previous Premier League outing, the 2-2 draw at Leicester City, Lampard took the 25-year-old out of the firing line, starting with veteran Willy Caballero between the sticks instead.

The decision has led to questions over Kepa's long-term future at Stamford Bridge, although Lampard has said he thinks taking him out of the team may act as a catalyst for progression, per Paul MacInnes of the Guardian:

"It was just a selection on that day, but I want everyone’s reaction to be spot on and he came out of the team.
