Pedro Fernandez was one of several Barcelona debutants to catch the eye in Sunday’s friendly win over Vissel Kobe.
The 17-year-old scored in the 3-1 victory and drew praise from manager Hansi Flick after the opening game of their pre-season tour.
Dro’s former coach Luis Pérez Barreiro has now been chatting about the teenager and offered fans a bit of insight into the player.
“He is very intelligent, he was a very good student. I already saw his talent from a young age,” he told Jijantes.
“On the pitch, he would take charge in the important games, and in the rest, he would stick to what you asked of him.
