On 8 July 2014, an entire nation wept in agony and anguish, helplessly watching on as a German onslaught brought their World Cup dreams to a brutal end.

Five years have passed since 'Mineirazo' - when seven goals from the eventual champions sunk Brazil in the semis - and it still hurts. They are yet to lift the famous trophy in front of their own fans, having lost the 1950 final to Uruguay in Rio de Janeiro, and will still be waiting for that honour by the time the next generation of Selecao footballers comes along.
