Barcelona striker Martin Braithwaite has sent out a heartfelt message after lifting the Copa del Rey with the Catalans on Saturday against Athletic.
Braithwaite has scored twice in the competition this season for Barca, against Cornella and Sevilla, and was a late substitute in Saturday’s win.
It’s the first trophy that Braithwaite has lifted outside of his homeland, and the Denmark international has made it clear just how special it was to win a title with Barca.
Barca will have to make do without Braithwaite for a little while after the striker suffered a sprained ankle in training earlier this week.
