'Bolt has been offered European deal' - Sprinter's agent confirms transfer approach

The eight-time Olympic gold medallist is currently impressing on trial in Australia, but could be set to move to Europe after receiving an offer

Usain Bolt's agent has confirmed that the sprinter-turned-football player has received an offer from a major European club.

The 32-year-old is currently on trial with Australian side Central Coast Mariners, where he made worldwide headlines with two goals in their pre-season friendly with Macarthur South West United.

Bolt turned his attentions to football after retiring from athletics, having won eight Olympic gold medals for Jamaica between 2008 and 2016. He initially trained with Norwegian side Stromgodset as well as Borussia Dortmund and played in the Soccer Aid charity game before being offered a trial with A-League club Central Coast Mariners.
