Bayern stronger with double deal

Fresh from claiming their fourth Bundesliga title in a row at the weekend, Bayern Munich are not resting on their laurels. Indeed, within half an hour of each other on Tuesday morning the club had announced a double deal for Renato Sanches and Mats Hummels as a welcome present for Carlo Ancelotti next season.

The record German champions snapped up Benfica's 18-year-old midfield starlet Sanches for a €35 million fee, while 27-year-old World Cup winner Mats Hummels returns home from Borussia Dortmund for around the same mark. More importantly, both have been signed up to five-year deals; though Hummels' is still dependant on him passing a medical.
