Bayern boss Kovac calls for tougher refereeing after Rafinha & Tolisso injuries

Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac has called on Bundesliga referees to hand out tougher punishments having seen two of his squad suffer serious injuries over the weekend.

Midfielder Corentin Tolisso suffered anterior cruciate ligament damage against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday while Rafinha damaged his ankle ligaments after a tackle from Karim Bellarabi, who appeared to stamp on his heel.

Bellarabi was sent off after the challenge, with Rafinha due to be out for a "number of weeks", while Tolisso will miss several months.
