Barcelona’s failure to land Nico Williams this summer has dominated headlines in recent weeks and continues to do so.
The latest update on the saga comes from Diario Sport and a claim that it was Barcelona’s demand that Williams change agent that also helped scupper the proposed transfer.
Félix Tainta got thing moving by meeting Deco for talks, on Nico’s request, but the transfer ended up collapsing over registration guarantees.
Sport also say that Barcelona became frustrated with Tainta, especially as they even had a medical booked for Williams, and wanted the Athletic star to switch to a different agent.
