Estêvão Willian Almeida de Oliveira Gonçalves, also known by his nickname, “Messinho” is set to sign for Chelsea FC, according to the latest rumors.
The 17-year-old winger is one of the most hyped young forwards in the world and had been linked with joining the club his idol, Lionel Messi, used to play for.
But FC Barcelona did not make a formal proposal to sign him from Palmeiras. The transfer is expected to be 32 million euro, with bonuses easily adding up to 45 million.
The transfer is by no means done, however, and there are some who think Arsenal FC could hijack the deal.
