Barcelona are reportedly optimistic that goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen will not miss any La Liga games due to injury after returning early from international duty.
The Germany international has been forced out of his team’s two friendlies over the international break due to a back problem.
Ter Stegen will instead head back to Barcelona where he will undergo further tests to determine the exact nature of his injury.
The feeling so far is that his withdrawal is a precaution and it’s not a serious problem, according to Marca.
Diario Sport also reckon that Ter Stegen will have “no problems” playing against Rayo in Barca’s first game back after the break.
