Barcelona firm up transfer plans and want to strengthen three positions in summer

Barcelona’s plans for the summer transfer window are reportedly starting to take shape as the club aim to strengthen the squad.

According to ESPN, Barcelona want a “central defender, a full-back and a left winger” in a bid to “go one step further” in the Champions League next year.

Plenty of names are already being thrown around, but it still remains to be seen how much Barcelona will be able to spend this summer.

However, the report does add that “there is an expectation some players will leave to enable investment elsewhere.”

Marcus Rashford, Nico Williams, Rafa Leao and Luis Diaz are just some of the names that have been mentioned as attacking options ahead of the summer window.
