Barcelona Femeni took all three points in Wednesday’s big game with a 3-0 win over Atletico at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.
The victory continues the team’s perfect start to the season and sees Lluís Cortés’s side move above Atletico to the top of the table.
Barca have yet to even concede a goal in five outings in 2020-21, while the win is also the first team Atletico have been beaten in the new campaign.
The visitors did have the chance to take the lead but former Barcelona striker Toni Duggan saw her penalty saved by goalkeeper Cata Coll.
