After months of speculation about who will have the honor of gracing the front of the historic FC Barcelona shirt it has now finally been decided. While there was talk about Barcelona going one season without a main sponsor it has now been agreed that the club will extend their current agreement with Qatar Airways.
The two sides were close to an extension prior to last season, but Josep Maria Bartomeu pulled the plug on the deal, hoping to secure a larger sum. His plan did not work as the new one-year extension with QA is reportedly on the same terms it was when the two sides first reached an agreement, rumored to be around €40 million.
