Barcelona come up with solution in bid to convince Nico Williams over registration worries

Barcelona have reportedly come up with a plan to try and seal the transfer of Nico Williams from Athletic Club.

The deal is said to have stalled as the Spain star and his agent are worried about whether Barca will be able to register him.

According to Diario Sport, Barcelona will insert a clause in his contract that allows him to negotiate with other teams “if there are problems with the signing.”

Barcelona also want to make it clear that if Williams does then move on, the club who wants to sign hm must pay the same €60 million release clause - so that the Catalans essentially get their money back.
