Barcelona confirmed on Thursday they have signed 20-year-old NAC Breda defender Mike van Beijnen.
The right-back becomes the third Dutchman to join the club this summer (after Ludoveit Reis and Frenkie de Jong) and joins on a free transfer.
Van Beijnen has signed a contract with the club until 2021 which has a release clause of €100 million.
Interestingly the defender is the son of De Jong’s agent Ali Dursun and actually played with De Jong at Willem II. Make of that what you will.
