Barcelona’s delegation is in Portugal to negotiate the transfer of right-back Nelson Semedo.
Technical secretary Robert Fernandez, along with Javier Bordas, an executive, and one of Barcelona’s top negotiators, Raul Sanllehi, are understood to all be working on the ground to get a deal done, according to the radio show Tu Diras on the station RAC1.
This information was repeated by Hector Antonio Ruiz of the TV channel Gol.
According to Portuguese outlet Record, the Catalans offered 30 million euro for Semedo. Benfica asked for 50 million, a figure Barcelona was not prepared to match.
