Barcelona are back at the summit of the Spanish Liga Iberdrola standings after a pair of goals from Asisat Oshoala inspired them to a 6-2 victory over Sevilla at Mini Estadi.
Lluis Cortes' side required a win over their visitors in their title pursuit but Atletico Madrid's 1-0 win at Espanyol on Monday dropped them to the second spot.
Oshoala, who returned in Sunday's 1-0 win at Bayern Munich after a month out with a hamstring injury, scored twice on her league return to keep the Blaugrana's title ambitions alive.
