Barcelona have confirmed that young goalkeeper Aron Yaakobishvili has departed for a season-long loan with Andorra.
The 19-year-old will join Gerard Pique’s club for the 2025-26 campaign and will hope to enjoy some regular playing time in the Second Division with the team.
Yaakobishvili was part of Juliano Belletti’s treble-winning team last season and is very highly-rated at the club.
He renewed his contact at Barcelona until 2028 back in May and is now taking the next step in his career by going out in search of first-team experience.
Yaakobishvili and Diego Kochen are Barcelona’s big hopes for the future in goal, and it will be interesting to see how both develop.
