Turkey’s state-run media announced this week that state prosecutors are seeking a 12 plus year sentence for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan, who’s on loan in Turkey playing for Bau015faku015fehir. Turan is being accused of being involved in a nightclub fight where he allegedly ended up breaking a pop star’s nose.
The pop star’s name is Berkay Sahin and the fight reportedly began after Turan made demeaning comments about Sahin’s wife. The story only gets worse when Turan apparently went to the hospital where the singer was receiving treatment with a firearm.
Turan is being charged with charged with sexual harassment, possession of an unlicensed gun, deliberate injury and willfully endangering public security.
