Barcelona starlet Ansu Fati has been ruled out of Saturday’s La Liga clash against Getafe with a knee injury.
The 16-year-old had been expected to be included in Ernesto Valverde’s squad for the trip to the Coliseum Alfonso Perez but is the latest player to be sidelined with injury.
His absence will be a blow to the Spanish champions, particularly because they are already without captain Lionel Messi due to a thigh strain.
Valverde does have Ousmane Dembele available after a five-week absence, while Luis Suarez and Antoine Griezmann are also likely to start Saturday’s match.
