Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has been voted Player of the Year for 2015 by the Football Supporters’ Federation.
Per the Press Association (via the Guardian), Sanchez has netted 20 goals and won the FA Cup in his first full calendar year as a Gunners player, and he expressed his delight at receiving the award:
I’m delighted to receive the FSF Player of the Year award. Personally, it’s been a great 2015 for me on the pitch with both my club and country.
Arsenal have enjoyed a good start to the season and it was disappointing to pick up an injury.
