Barcelona have confirmed that Alexia Putellas has signed a new contract at the club that will run until 2026.
Alexis is quite simply one of the greatest female players to ever grace the game and will continue her career with the Catalans after extending her current deal.
Here’s the club’s official statement:
“FC Barcelona and Alexia Putellas have reached an agreement for the player to stay at the club for two more seasons through to 30 June 2026, with the option of a third year. This Tuesday the 2021 and 2022 Ballon d’Or winner out pen to paper in the company of club president Joan Laporta.
