Aguero scores twice in Man City draw

Sergio Aguero rescued a point for Manchester City as Manuel Pellegrini's side earned a 2-2 draw at West Ham on Saturday.

Leicester City's earlier win at Stoke sent Claudio Ranieri's side top of the table, and Pellegrini's men travelled to Upton Park trailing the Foxes by four points.

The Hammers took the lead after just 53 seconds, with Cheikhou Kouyate battling past Yaya Toure down the left wing and crossing for Enner Valencia to finish low past Joe Hart.

That goal was the second-quickest scored in the Premier League this season, but City recovered quickly.

Aguero was brought down in the Hammers area after a needless foul from Carl Jenkinson, and sent Adrian the wrong way from the penalty spot to equalise after nine minutes.
