Chelsea agreed a loan deal for Colombian striker Radamel Falcao yesterday. The Barclays Premier League Champions have agreed to pay Monaco a £5m loan fee for the former Manchester United striker, who according to The Times, has accepted a pay cut of more than 25 per cent on his previous wages of £265k-a-week to move to Stamford Bridge.

Falcao may not be the only new arrival at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea will continue to work on revamping their forward line. The Blues are still interested in signing Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann who has a £43m buy-out clause in his contract.
