Let the Rumors Continue...

As rumors fly, signings are made. That is what has been seen throughout the past couple of weeks as the winter transfer window went underway.

ARSENAL: Titi’s Return

The return of the Emirates hero Thierry Henry seems to be the talk of the transfer season as the shocking return left the Arsenal fans stunned and excited. The legend debuted with the Gunners and did it the way he and his fans know best: scoring a typical beautiful Henry goal. The 1-0 goal gave the Gunners an FA Cup victory. The Frenchman will only be back for 2 short months during his MLS break but will surely bring more joy to his first love, Arsenal.

ZARAGOZA

Zaragoza has been struggling this season in La Liga as they have only obtained 10 points out of the 48 disputed. The club took action against the poor performance so far and sacked Mexican coach Javier Aguirre and is now on the look out for his replacement. Not only does this complicate things for Zaragoza, but it also complicates the futures of his pupils: Mexicans Efrain Juarez and Pablo Barrera. The two Mexican internationals have been linked with moves back to Mexico. Juarez with Santos and Barrera’s future has yet to be determined.

PACHUCA

One of the most talked about transfers in Mexico is that of naturalized Mexican Guillermo Franco to Pachuca. The Mexican Argentine striker had been playing in Argentina but is now making his return to a familiar Mexico. He was signed with Pachuca at the beginning of the transfer season and Monterrey fans were a little bit suspicious as they assumed that if Franco were to return to Mexico he would return to Monterrey. Does the legendary Monterrey striker have something up his sleeve?

BARCELONA

You may assume that the not yet renewed contract of Pep Guardiola would be the main topic when talking about Barcelona, but you are mistaken. The seemingly familiar topic of Diego Forlan with Barcelona has surfaced yet again. Spanish news source Sport has linked interest of the Spanish Champions with Uruguayan international.

MANCHESTER UNITED

Desperate for a more consistent performance, the English champions are looking to see how they can improve. Rumors indicate that the Red Devils are spying on Catalan youngster Isaac Cuenca who has been extremely consistent with Barcelona.

Chat sports readers I want to hear what YOU think about this winter’s transfer window. Who was the most shocking transfer? Who will succeed and who will fall flat?
