The defending American Athletic Conference Women’s Swimming and Diving Champion Mustangs have released their 2015-2016 schedule.
Head coach Steve Collins made the announcement this week, beginning his 30th year as the leader of the SMU program. The team will look to build on last season’s success, which included the AAC Championship, a 31st overall finish at the NCAA Championship, and a host of All-America honors.
Several Mustangs competed in worldwide events this summer. Three alumni swimmers and one active swimmer competed for their respective countries in the FINA World Championships in Russia in early August. They did well, setting several personal bests and even a few national records.
