Question: Was 2018 a hiccup or is the SMU basketball program trending the wrong way?
Grosbard: 2018 was the perfect storm of bad circumstances for SMU. That said, there's a chance that 2018-19 is a rebuilding year if Jarrey Foster decides to stay in the draft rather than return to school for his senior season. There are a lot of holes on the roster right now that the staff is trying to fill in the late 2018 recruiting market as well as from junior college and grad transfer markets.
