SMU's 2018 spring practices are now a thing of the past, having wrapped up Monday afternoon. With the dust quickly settling, the standout player from the month of football seems clear.
The Mustang who made the biggest name for himself was linebacker Richard Moore. The Texas A&M transfer redshirted last season and had surgery to repair an injured shoulder so no one knew exactly what to expect when spring ball commenced in March.
Simply put, Moore was all over the place, firmly securing the first-team middle linebacker spot early in the 15 practices.
