UNIVERSITY PARK -- SMU's win over New Orleans Wednesday was the last game that USF transfer Jahmal McMurray was required to sit out according to NCAA rules.
But SMU hasn't decided yet if that means he will play the rest of the 2017-18 season, starting with Monday's game against Boise State. It's a decision that head coach Tim Jankovich expects to agonize over for the next few days.
"He's an outstanding talent so on one hand we'd be really, really excited to have him join the team. He's a really good player," Jankovich said. "But, there's some tough choices to be made and we'll have a lot of discussions and we'll figure that out in the next several days.
