Weekend's worst bad beats

Rob Nelson of ESPN Stats & Information revisits the worst bad beats from the weekend's gambling action.

Saturday

Line: Appalachian State -13.5

Halfway through the fourth quarter, New Mexico State, which closed as a 13.5-point underdog, led 31-24 over Appalachian State. But a late flurry of touchdowns by the Mountaineers would result in rough loss for those who bet the underdog.

Appalachian State scored three touchdowns in a five-minute span, capped off by Jalin Moore's 56-yard run to give his team a 45-31 lead with 2:12 left. New Mexico State would get one last chance for a backdoor cover, but after driving into Appalachian State territory, Tyler Rogers was picked off for the sixth time in the game, resulting in a half-point loss for those who bet the Aggies.
